What I love most about wedding photography is preserving the real moments and genuine connections that make every wedding unique. From proud family members and emotional speeches to laughter between friends and the quiet moments shared between the two of you, these are the memories that deserve to be remembered for years to come.
One of the things couples often tell me when we first meet is that they're nervous about being photographed. That's completely understandable, and it's where I can help. My aim is to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and able to enjoy every moment. I'll guide you as much or as little as you need, creating natural and flattering photographs without anything feeling forced or uncomfortable.
Born and raised in Bedfordshire, I've always valued the importance of family, relationships and the moments that bring people together — which is one of the reasons I feel so privileged to photograph weddings. With more than 15 years of professional photography experience, I bring that appreciation into every wedding I photograph.
I've spent my career telling stories through images in a variety of fast-paced environments. Today, my focus is on documenting one of life's most meaningful occasions and creating photographs that allow you to relive the emotions, details and atmosphere of your day long after it has passed.
My approach is primarily documentary and photojournalistic. I believe the best photographs often happen naturally, so I work unobtrusively to capture your wedding as it unfolds. From the excitement of getting ready to the laughter, happy tears and celebrations throughout the day, my aim is to tell your story authentically while allowing you to enjoy every moment with your family and friends.
Alongside these natural moments, I also capture the important family group photographs and relaxed couple portraits that complete the story of your day. Whether you prefer a largely candid style or would like a little more guidance and direction, I'll create a collection of images that reflects your personalities and your day.
When I'm not photographing weddings, I'm usually still behind a camera — often to the amusement (and occasional annoyance) of my family! Photography has always been a passion of mine, and outside of weddings you'll often find me photographing football, rugby, motorsport, landscapes, travel scenes or getting up close with macro photography. If I'm not taking photographs, I'm probably watching sport or out walking the dog.
